Ways to Check Your Windows Computer’s Model Name
If you’re trying to troubleshoot a problem on your Windows computer or you’re looking for specific drivers or software for your computer, you need to know the model name of your computer. Here are a few ways you can check your Windows computer’s model name:
1. Check the documentation that came with your computer: The model name is usually printed on the computer case or listed in the documentation that came with your computer.
2. Check the System Information utility: The System Information utility on your computer provides information about your computer’s hardware and software. To open the System Information utility, press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box, type “msinfo32” and press Enter. In the System Information window, the model name should be listed under the System Model field.
