Suspect in 2021 Lynchburg Killing Pleads Guilty
Ja’Quain Quintez Miller, the suspect in a 2021 fatal shooting in Lynchburg, Virginia, pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including second-degree murder. Miller was sentenced to 38 years in prison for the death of Scottie Humbles, a maintenance worker at James Crossing Apartments. The plea agreement was reached with the cooperation of the victim’s family.
