SCDOT Proposes Safety Improvements for Folly Road
The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) is proposing significant safety improvements for Folly Road, following a road safety audit that revealed over 2,103 car accidents in a five-mile section from 2018 to 2022. The proposed changes include high visibility crosswalks, relocated bus stops, and new pavement markings. The community is encouraged to provide feedback on these proposals by November 22, 2024.
