Road Projects and Resort Expansion
Georgetown is currently experiencing significant road construction projects, leading to street closures and detours. Residents are advised to plan for additional travel time and use alternate routes. Additionally, the Jetstream Resort at Stone Oak Ranch has completed a major expansion, adding 200 RV spaces and 27 tiny home spaces, along with new amenities such as a pavilion, beer garden, and lazy river. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for December 11, 2024.
