Oak Hill Conservation Project Receives $22 Million Grant
The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors approved a $22 million grant for the purchase of the historic Oak Hill property, the home of President James Monroe. The property is being considered for development into a state park, which would be the only Virginia state park featuring a presidential home. The project aims to preserve the historic site and provide a new recreational area for the community.
