More PS5, PS4, and PS1 Games Coming to PlayStation Plus This Month
PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for a treat this month, as the line-up of free games for June includes more titles than ever before. In addition to the usual two free games for PS5 owners and two more for PS4 owners, Sony is also offering a free bonus game for both consoles this month. On top of that, PS1 classic game titles are also returning to the service and will be available for free to all PlayStation Plus members.
For PS5 owners, the headline title this month is Operation: Tango, a cooperative spy adventure that can only be played with a partner. Players assume the roles of an agent and hacker and must work together to infiltrate a network of hackers and rogue AI that threatens the world. Also free this month for PS5 owners is the action-packed Star Wars: Squadrons, which lets players take on the roles of Imperial or Rebel pilots in a series of intense space battles.
PS4 owners won’t be left out either. Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, an updated version of the classic fighting game, is free for subscribers this month. Also available for PS4 owners is the highly acclaimed sci-fi shooter, Star Wars: Battlefront II.
In addition to these four games, Sony is also offering a bonus game for both PS5 and PS4 owners. This month’s bonus game is the rhythm game, Operation: Tango. Players must tap, swipe, and slide to the beat of a variety of music tracks as they journey through a virtual world of dance.
And returning for the first time in years are PS1 classic titles, which are available for free to all PlayStation Plus members. This month’s PS1 games include the platformer, MediEvil, and the tactical RPG, Arc the Lad.
Overall, this month’s line-up of free games is one of the best in recent memory and should keep PlayStation Plus subscribers entertained for weeks to come. So, whether you’re a fan of cooperative spy adventures, space battles, rhythm games, or classic titles from the PS1 era, there’s something for everyone this month on PlayStation Plus.
