How to Turn Off Google Chrome Notifications on Windows
Google Chrome is one of the most popular web browsers in the world, but it can be frustrating when it constantly displays notifications for all sorts of things. Fortunately, there is a way to turn off Google Chrome notifications on Windows.
The first step is to open Google Chrome and click on the three vertical dots in the top right-hand corner of the screen. This will open a drop-down menu, and from there select ‘Settings’.
Scroll down the settings menu until you see ‘Privacy and Security’, and then click on ‘Site Settings’.
Under ‘Site Settings’, find the option called ‘Notifications’ and click on it. This will take you to a list of websites that have asked to send push notifications.
You can now turn off notifications for individual websites by clicking on the three vertical dots next to their name and selecting ‘Block’. If you want to turn off all notifications across all websites, simply toggle the switch next to ‘Ask before sending’ to the off position.
Once you have done this, Google Chrome will no longer display any notifications on your Windows computer.
It’s worth noting that some websites may still try to send notifications even if you have turned them off in Chrome.
In this case, you can disable notifications for that website specifically by following these steps:
– Click on the padlock icon next to the website’s URL in the address bar.
– Click on ‘Site settings’.
– Find the option for notifications.
– Select ‘Block’.
And that’s it! You should no longer receive notifications from that website.
