How to Turn Off Driving Mode on Your iPhone
Driving mode on an iPhone is a helpful feature that automatically detects when you’re in a moving vehicle and turns off all notifications. The iPhone driving mode helps to minimize distractions and ensures you stay focused on the road. However, sometimes you may want to turn off driving mode on your iPhone to access your notifications while driving or to play music from your phone. Whatever the case may be, turning off driving mode on an iPhone is easy and can be done in a few simple steps.
Step 1: Unlock your iPhone
The first step to turning off driving mode on your iPhone is to unlock your phone. To do this, swipe up from the bottom of the screen or enter your passcode or use your facial recognition if you have the feature enabled.
Step 2: Access Control Center
After unlocking your iPhone, swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to access the Control Center.
Step 3: Disable Do Not Disturb While Driving feature
In the Control Center, you will see the Do Not Disturb While Driving icon represented by a car. Tap on the icon to disable the feature. You can also swipe right on this icon to turn off the feature.
Step 4: Turn Off Bluetooth
Sometimes, driving mode on an iPhone may also be enabled when your phone is connected to the car’s Bluetooth system. To turn it off in such cases, go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn off Bluetooth if it’s turned on.
Step 5: Turn Off Location Services
If you’ve enabled the “Automatically” option under Location Services > System Services > Motion & Fitness on your iPhone, it might trigger driving mode. To ensure that it’s turned off, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services and toggle off the “Motion & Fitness” option.
