How to Renegade: 13 Steps

1. Start by standing with feet shoulder-width apart and your arms at your sides.
2. Begin with a clap. Clap your hands in front of your chest.
3. Move into the right-arm wave. Extend your right arm out to your side and wave it up and down in a snake-like motion.
4. Swing your hips as you step forward with your left foot, while keeping your right foot stationary.
5. Snap your fingers on both hands twice – once while leaning forward and once while leaning back.
6. With both hands, make an ‘L’ shape using fingers of each hand. Place them around either side of your eye, like extending peripheral vision.
7. Cross your arms over one another and then open them up quickly, like breaking a stick.
8. Sway to the left, and then to the right with your arms swaying accordingly.
9. Perform a body roll, starting from your head down to your waist while stepping forward with one foot slightly.
10. Make fists with both hands and place them on top of each other at eye level as if you’re holding an imaginary baseball bat.
11. Swing the imaginary baseball bat twice, once to the left and then to the right.
12. End with a figure-eight motion, looping both hands in circles around each other before placing them behind your head as if in handcuffs.
13. Finish by thrusting both hips to either side – first right then left – while dropping into a low squat position.
