How to Play UNO Attack: 10 Steps
1. Gather the necessary components: To play UNO Attack, you’ll need an UNO deck, an UNO Attack launcher, and at least two players.
2. Set up the game environment: Place the launcher in the center of the table and insert the cards into it. Make sure there is enough space for all players to sit around the launcher comfortably.
3. Shuffle the deck: Shuffle the deck thoroughly before loading it into the launcher. Make sure to distribute the card types evenly as you shuffle.
4. Deal out initial hands: Deal out seven cards to each player, placing them face down in front of each person. The remaining cards should be inserted into the launcher, ensuring they are loaded correctly.
5. Begin play: The first player, or dealer, chooses a card from their hand that matches either the color or number of the top card exposed on the launcher. For example, if there’s a red 3 on top, they can play a red 6 or a blue 3.
6. Utilize specialty cards if available: If a player has a specialty card in their hand, they can play it following its unique rules. These specialty cards include Reverse, Skip, Draw Two, and Wild cards.
7. Press the launcher button when necessary: If a player cannot play a card on their turn, they must press the launcher button instead which may randomly dispense additional cards for them to add to their hand.
8. Follow through with attacks: When an UNO Attack card is drawn from the launcher or played by someone else, everyone must quickly press their own colored button on the side of the launcher unit. The last person to press their button will be “attacked” by having multiple cards shot out from the device and added to their hand.
9. Announce “UNO” when appropriate: When a player has only one card left in their hand, they must shout “UNO!” to indicate this to others. If the player fails to announce “UNO” and gets caught by another player, they must press the launcher button as their penalty.
10. Win the game: The first player to get rid of all their cards wins the round at which point, points are tallied based on the remaining cards in opponents’ hands. Each card has a designated value, and after several rounds, the player with the lowest accumulated points becomes the ultimate winner.
