– The number on each card must be either one greater or one less than the number on an active center card for it to be considered a valid play.

1. Both players will simultaneously announce “3, 2, 1, Speed!” and start playing at once.

2. Each player must now try to stack their cards on top of the active center columns in numerical order, either ascending or descending. For example, if a center card is a five, they can stack either a four or a six on top of it.

3. When neither player can make any moves, they flip one new card from their respective draw pile onto each active center column (totalling two new active cards).

4. Players continue stacking their personal cards as described in Step 2 until they can no longer make a move.

Note: Aces can be stacked on top of Kings, and vice versa.
