How to Pause and Resume a Video Recording on an iPhone or iPad
Recording videos on your iPhone or iPad is a great way to capture precious moments with family and friends. Sometimes, however, you may need to pause the recording in the middle of a scene or clip, and then continue recording from where you left off. Fortunately, it is easy to pause and resume video recordings on an iPhone or iPad.
Here’s how you can pause and resume a video recording on your iPhone or iPad:
Starting a Video Recording
To start a video recording on your iPhone or iPad, open the camera app and switch the camera to video mode. You can do this by swiping the camera mode selector from the right side of the screen or tapping on the video camera icon at the bottom of the screen.
Once you’re in video mode, tap the red button to start the video recording.
Pausing a Video Recording
To pause a video recording, tap the red button again. You’ll notice that the red button is replaced with a white button with a red circle in the middle. This indicates that the recording is paused.
When you pause the recording, your video will be saved up to that point in your camera roll. This means that you can resume the recording at your convenience without losing any footage.
Resuming a Video Recording
To resume a paused video recording, tap the white button with the red circle in the middle. The recording will resume from where it left off.
If you want to stop the recording completely, you can simply tap the red button again. This will save the video to your camera roll and allow you to start a new recording if you wish.
