How to Gleek: 11 Steps
Gleeking is a unique and fascinating skill that involves projecting saliva from the salivary glands under the tongue, creating a fine spray. This curious talent has excited – or annoyed – many throughout history. If you’re intrigued by the idea of learning how to gleek, follow these 11 steps to get started on your journey.
1. Hydrate: Drink plenty of water before attempting to gleek, as it helps keep the salivary glands full and ready for action.
2. Locate your salivary glands: Place your fingers underneath your tongue and press gently. You should feel two small, pea-sized bumps on either side of the base of your tongue – these are your submandibular salivary glands.
3. Position your tongue: Rest the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth, just behind your upper front teeth.
4. Apply pressure: Press down firmly with the middle part of your tongue on those submandibular glands that you located earlier.
5. Arch your tongue: Keep pressing in that area while arching the back of your tongue against the roof of your mouth, forming a “U” shape.
6. Create suction: As you press down and arch, create a suction that would pull saliva towards the tip of your tongue.
7. Release pressure slowly: Relieve the pressure and arch in a controlled manner while maintaining that suction. The saliva should be drawn towards the tip of your tongue as you do this.
8. Part your lips slightly: Open your mouth just wide enough to allow space for saliva to project outwards.
9. Aim with precision: Focus on directing the stream towards a specific target by controlling how far forward or backward you tilt your head.
10. Propel with force: To actually gleek, release the accumulated saliva by quickly flicking down the tip of your tongue from its position at the roof of your mouth to your lower teeth.
11. Practice, practice, practice: Like any skill, gleeking takes time and practice to perfect. The more you attempt it, the better control you will have over the process.
Keep in mind that not everyone can gleek, and some people may take longer than others to develop this skill. But with perseverance and dedication, you may soon find yourself proudly demonstrating your newfound talent. Happy gleeking!
