How to Extract Images From a PDF and Use Them Anywhere
PDF or Portable Document Format is a popular file format used to distribute digital documents. Many PDF documents contain embedded images that can be extracted to use in other documents or projects. In this article, we will discuss how to extract images from a PDF and use them anywhere.
Step 1: Open the PDF file
To extract images from a PDF, you first need to open the PDF document using a PDF reader software such as Adobe Acrobat Reader. Right-click on the PDF file and select ‘Open With’ and then select Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Step 2: Export the images
Once the PDF file is open, go to ‘File’ and select ‘Export’. In the ‘Save As’ dialog box, select ‘Images’ under the ‘Save as type’ option. Choose the folder where you want to save the extracted images, and click on the ‘Save’ button.
Step 3: Choose image format
After saving the images, you need to choose the image format that you want to use in your project. JPEG or PNG formats are commonly used for images. To choose the image format, go to the folder where you saved the extracted images, right-click on the desired image, and select ‘Open With’. Select the image editor that you have on your computer, such as Microsoft Paint or Adobe Photoshop.
