How to Create a Folder on an iPhone to Organize Your Apps
As an iPhone user, you probably have a lot of apps installed on your device. While having a variety of apps is great, it can become difficult to access them all when you need them. Fortunately, creating a folder on your iPhone is a great way to organize your apps and make them easily accessible. In this article, we’ll guide you through the steps to create a folder on your iPhone.
Step 1: Choose the Apps You Want to Include in the Folder
The first thing you need to do is choose the apps you want to include in the folder. You can choose as many apps as you want, but try to keep them related to each other. For example, if you want to create a folder for all your social media apps, choose apps like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat.
Step 2: Press and Hold the App Icon
Once you’ve chosen the apps you want to include in the folder, press and hold one of the app icons. You’ll notice that all the app icons on your home screen will start to wiggle.
Step 3: Drag the App to Another App to Create a Folder
While still holding the app icon, drag it onto another app you want to include in the folder. This will create a folder for both apps. You can continue dragging and dropping other apps you want to include in the folder.
Step 4: Name the Folder
After you’ve added all the apps you want to include in the folder, tap on the “Unnamed Folder” text below the apps. This will allow you to enter a name for the folder. You can name the folder anything you like, but try to choose a name that accurately represents the apps in the folder.
Step 5: Add More Apps to the Folder
If you want to add more apps to the folder in the future, simply press and hold the app icon and drag it into the folder. You can also move apps out of the folder by pressing and holding the app icon and dragging it out of the folder.
Step 6: Organize Your Folders
Once you’ve created one or more folders, you can organize them by moving them around your home screen. Press and hold the folder icon and drag it to the location you prefer. You can also move a folder onto another folder to create a folder within a folder.
