How to Bulk Resize Photos in Windows 10
In today’s world, we’re always capturing moments or taking pictures of our daily lives. We take pictures using our smartphones, cameras, or any gadget we use to capture the photos. However, have you ever taken a picture that was too large, taking too much space on your computer? Or have you ever wanted to resize an entire folder of photos quickly? Well, there’s a way to bulk resize photos in Windows 10.
Resizing multiple photos at once can be very useful. Not only does it save time, but it also saves space on your computer without sacrificing the quality. Here’s how you can do this in Windows 10.
Step 1: Select the Photos
The first thing you need to do is to select the photos you want to resize. You can select them all at once or choose a specific folder that contains the photos you want to resize.
Step 2: Right-click on the Photos
Once you’ve selected the photos, right-click on them, and select “Resize pictures” from the pop-up menu. This will open the “Resize and Skew” window.
Step 3: Choose the Resize Option
In the “Resize and Skew” window, you’ll find two options: “Resize” and “Skew.” Select the “Resize” option.
Step 4: Choose the Dimensions
After you choose the resize option, you need to decide on the dimensions you’d like your photo to be trimmed down to. You can either select one of the pre-set sizes or enter custom dimensions.
Step 5: Choose the Options
In this step, you’ll decide the resolution and quality of the photos. You can choose to maintain the aspect ratio, which means the image size will be reduced proportionately. Alternatively, you can stretch or skew the photo. You can also choose the quality of the image – high, medium, or low.
Step 6: Apply Changes
Once you’ve decided on the dimensions and the options, click on the “OK” button to apply the changes.
Step 7: Save the Resized Photos
Once you’ve clicked on the “OK” button, Windows will create a new folder for the resized photos. The new folder will be in the same directory as the original photos. Alternatively, you can choose a custom destination to save the resized photos.
