South Carolina has seen a series of unusual animal-related incidents, including the escape of 43 rhesus macaque monkeys from a research facility and sightings of an emu running wild near Myrtle Beach. Additionally, there was a reported Bigfoot sighting in the Midlands near Pomaria.
