Bomb Scare at Torrance Courthouse
The Los Angeles County courthouse in Torrance was evacuated due to a bomb scare. An unknown device was reported outside the courthouse, prompting the response of the Sheriff Arson Explosive Detail units. A robot was used to investigate the device, which was found to be non-explosive. The courthouse reopened and proceedings resumed in the afternoon.
