Behavioral Health Hospital Groundbreaking
In Harlingen, Terry Crocker, CEO of Tropical Texas Behavioral Health, announced the groundbreaking of a new behavioral hospital in Pharr. This facility aims to address the significant need for mental health services in the Rio Grande Valley, which currently has only 54 state mental health facility beds for a population of 1.4 million.
