Bake These Pillowy Cinnamon Rolls for Special Occasions
Ingredients:
⦁ 4 cups all-purpose flour
⦁ 1/4 cup granulated sugar
⦁ 1 packet active dry yeast
⦁ 1 tsp salt
⦁ 1 cup warm milk
⦁ 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
⦁ 2 large eggs
Filling:
⦁ 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
⦁ 1 cup brown sugar
⦁ 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
Frosting:
⦁ 4 oz cream cheese, softened
⦁ 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
⦁ 1 cup powdered sugar
⦁ 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
⦁ Mix dry ingredients, then add wet ingredients to form a dough
⦁ Knead, let rise for 1 hour
⦁ Roll out, spread filling, roll up, and cut into 12 pieces
⦁ Place in greased pan, let rise for 30 minutes
⦁ Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes
⦁ Cool slightly, then top with frosting
