UI Health Nurses Strike
Nurses at the University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System began an open-ended strike to protest low wages and poor working conditions. This follows a six-month contract negotiation impasse. The Illinois Nurses Association represents over 1,700 nurses at UI Health.
