Student Arrested for School Shooting Threat
A student from Bonita Vista Middle School in Chula Vista was arrested on November 13, 2024, after allegedly threatening a school shooting in an online chat. The arrest was made possible by a timely anonymous tip submitted through the P3 Tips mobile application. The student was taken into custody at home, and no firearms were found during the investigation.
