Tuskegee University Mass Shooting
A federal investigator revealed that Jaquez Myrick, 25, of Montgomery, admitted to firing his modified Glock during the Tuskegee University mass shooting but denied aiming at anyone. The incident resulted in one death and 16 injuries. Myrick was arrested and charged with possession of a machine gun. The university has canceled classes for the remainder of the week to focus on safety and mental health support.
