How to Block a Sender and Let Them Know You Did in Gmail

- Open the email from the sender you want to block
First, open the email from the sender you want to block. You can do this by clicking on the email in your Gmail inbox.
- Click on the three dots icon
Next, click on the three dots icon in the top right corner of the email. This will open a drop-down menu.
- Select “Block [sender]”
In the drop-down menu, select “Block [sender]”. This will open a confirmation message.
- Confirm that you want to block the sender
In the confirmation message, click on “Block” to confirm that you want to block the sender. This will automatically move their emails to your Spam folder.
- Select “Report spam” and “Send email to notify [sender]”
If you want to let the sender know that you have blocked them, select “Report spam” and “Send email to notify [sender]”. This will send an email to the sender, letting them know that you have blocked them.
