How to Clear Your Saved Searches on Twitter
Twitter, like several other social media platforms, saves your search history to make it easier for you to find and engage with content you’re interested in. However, sometimes it’s essential to clear this history if you want to maintain your privacy. If you don’t want Twitter to recommend content based on your previous searches, you can choose to delete your saved searches on the platform.
Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to delete your saved searches on Twitter:
Step 1: Open Twitter and log in to your account.
Step 2: Once you’re on the homepage, click on the search bar at the top of the page. Here, you’ll see a list of your recent searches.
Step 3: Here, you’ll see all your recent searches. You have two options – you can either ‘Clear Search History’ to delete all your saved searches or you can delete specific searches individually.
Step 4: To clear your entire search history, click on the ‘Clear Search History’ option. A pop-up message will appear to confirm that you want to delete your search history. Click on ‘Yes, I’m sure’ to confirm.
Step 5: If you only want to delete specific searches, click on the ‘X’ icon next to each search item you want to remove. Click on ‘Yes, I’m sure’ to confirm the deletion.
Step 6: Your search history is now cleared! Going forward, Twitter won’t use your history to suggest content or hashtags.
