4 Ways to Thread a Brother Ls 2125i Sewing Machine
If you own a Brother LS 2125i sewing machine, you know it’s a reliable and user-friendly machine. Threading your sewing machine can be an intimidating task, especially for beginners. However, with the right guidance, it becomes a simple and manageable task. Here, we will discuss four ways to thread your Brother LS 2125i sewing machine like a pro.
1. Standard Threading Method
The standard method involves threading the machine from the spool to the needle in sequential steps.
– First, place the spool of thread on the spool pin located at the top of your sewing machine.
– Guide the thread through the first upper thread guide on top of your sewing machine.
– Pass the thread down through the tension disc assembly.
– Loop it back up around the take-up lever.
– Finally, pass the thread from front to back through the eye of the needle.
2. Automatic Needle Threader
Some Brother sewing machines, like LS 2125i, come with an automatic needle threader for an easier threading experience.
– Follow steps 1-4 from the standard method.
– After that, pull down the automatic needle threader lever and rotate it to pass it through the eye of the needle.
– Place your thread in between “pincer hooks” of this lever, and let go of it.
– Remove your thread from inside these hooks while keeping it secure on both sides.
– You are now ready to start sewing.
3. Hand-held Needle Threader
In case you find it difficult to thread by hand and don’t have an automatic needle threader on your device, you can also use a hand-held needle threader.
– Follow steps 1-4 from the standard method.
– Insert the wire loop of your hand-held needle threader through the eye of your needle.
– Pass the sewing thread through the wire loop and gently pull the threader back out, bringing the sewing thread with it.
– Pull the thread through and you are ready to sew.
4. Bobbin Threading
Don’t forget to also thread your bobbin!
– Remove the plastic bobbin cover from your machine by sliding it towards yourself.
– Place a filled bobbin into the bobbin holder’s space with the thread running counter-clockwise on top.
– Guide the end of your thread through the first notch of the bobbin case area and to the left, pulling it through the tension spring.
– Bring your upper thread down and hand-turn the handwheel to catch both threads together.
– Replace your bobbin cover.
These four different ways cater to various threading needs and preferences when it comes to the Brother LS 2125i sewing machine. Choose whichever method you find most comfortable or try them all to become a threading pro. Happy sewing!
