$27M Settlement for Displaced Families in Palm Springs
Black and Latino families displaced from Palm Springs’ Section 14 neighborhood in the 1960s have reached a $27 million tentative settlement with the city. The funds will be used for compensation, housing assistance, and a community land trust, among other initiatives.
